Ok so since she found out i was pregnant she has been right in my face the whole time so i booked a private gender scan for her and my mam to find out themselfs but my mil wont stop guessing and now she has guessed our babies name i cant help but cry because she has ruined the surprise am i over reacting ? 😢

Have you talked to her? Some people like guessing, some don't. Just tell her you don't want her to keep doing things like that, and you'll announce the name when ready.

I want to name my baby Logan, my mother in law likes that name. My husband wants to name him Derek. My mother in law thought it would be funny to tell my husband that I "had sex with a guy name Derek" in order to get my husband to bane him what I want. My husband took it seriously and we ended up having a fight that night and I slept on the couch. I'm 31 weeks! I shouldn't have to sleep on the couch because my mother in law wants to act dumb. He ended up coming into the living room an hour later and carrying me to bed and kissing me and cuddling telling me he's sorry. Whatevs.

MIL's love to get involved. Mine already has a nursery made in her house, is picking out baby names (even though we've already picked one) and now wants to move the family home business into my house so she can take care of baby while she works.

It bugged me at first but you've just got to let it go. You're the mama and you know what's best for baby.
