Ive been on the nuva ring for almost 2 yrs now. I wanna get something that is almost 100% at preventing pregnancy. I have been looking at iuds and i think i want to do that. Thoughts ladies?

IUD'S basically have the highest protection possible outta all the birth control. I recently got mine, completely covered by insurance. Mine is the copper, non-hormonal which lasts for 10 years. If you need the hormones though there are some that range 3-5 years. The best part is once you have it inserted you don't have to stress about taking pills or forgetting. I cannot tell you if insertion will hurt, it's different for everyone. My friend felt "just a small pinch" during hers and mine was very painful. Definitely worth it though! Consider what's best for yourself and your plans if you're thinking of getting one :D
