will hospital outfits get stained etc?

Just thinking baby will be bloody etc until they get a bath do the first clothes get all stained? Not sure to take my favourite outfits or just outfits🤔 also how many baby outfits would you pack?

Answer

They clean the baby the next day if not that very same day it's born. You can bring 3 outfits but while at the hospital they usually have them in a onesie cause of all the test they run on the baby before you leave.

My baby was very clean after birth they wiped her up nice and even cut her nails before she was even 5 minutes old. Not bloody mess. Usually mom is a mess but not baby ;)

First clothes dont normally get dirty. Are you planning on delaying bathing?

I used the little shirt thing the hospital gave us.  Our babies were always comfortable and happy.  I didn't change the our babies into their first home outfit until we went home!
