Grapes bad during pregnancy?

I'm the worry wort who looks up everything to make sure it's safe for me and the baby and I'm seeing grapes as a no no... I love grapes and it's one of the few things I actually have an appetite for.. opinions please?! I'm only six weeks and two days along.

They're totally fine. The warning against grapes is if you don't take the time to wash them. They're usually sprayed with stuff. But if you wash them, they're fine. I've been eating them by the truckload the entire time. My little guy is fine :)

Ate grapes with all my kids and the only thing you need to make sure you do is wash them really well before eating them

Yes you can have grapes just please rinse them, the other day i grabbed a handful from the fridge without washing them and i threw up all day i was fine next day but do keep in mind to again rinse them well!

I imagine any warning has to do with pesticides, which would apply even when you're not pregnant. Certain fruits are sprayed more than others and just need more thorough washing. Just wash properly and don't worry I would say. I eat lots of fruit and love grapes. Don't stress yourself lol

I honestly think it's fine to eat them. Try and buy organic if you can, as I believe the reason they may not be recommended is because the combo of thin skin/high water content make them especially susceptible to retaining toxins from pesticides and fertilizers. Obviously, you will want to wash them thoroughly, but that goes without saying.
