Best birth control method?

I really want to go on birth control because I am a freshman in college, and I'm getting married this June. My fiancé is a total family guy, and wants to start a family soon. I don't want any children for the next 5-6 years. What's the best birth control method in your opinion? I don't think I'd want to take the pill because I'm very forgetful.

Have you discussed the future? Life goals? Wants? Dreams? You shouldn't be getting married if you haven't talked about these things. My husband and I talked about our bucket lists, career goals, how many kids we wanted, when we wanted to have them, what kind of house we wanted, where we wanted to live, how we would raise our kids, our ideas of marriage, etc all before getting married to make sure we were on the same page and would be happy together.

Make sure you and your fiance are on the same schedule with regard to having children before you get married. If having kids very soon is a priority for him, you guys need to have a serious talk.
