When do you start buying baby stuff

Buy whenever and whatever you want . Just means your excited . Go nuts . . . . If your financial position allows ofcourse :)

I'm ttc for my 3rd and final baby, if I pick up a pack of diapers and wipes every month, different sizes..or baby shampoo/lotions, it makes me feel good because I'm preparing. Those are all things the gender doesn't apply to and my four year old still washes at bedtime with Johnsons bedtime baby bath wash, so it's not like we will have so much i can't use it. I think if you're financially stable and can afford to pick little things up here n there then sure go ahead. Id wait for the heartbeat / out of first trimester to buy clothing or things like that though.

It's never too early to start buying gender neutral items like bibs, or onsies. The sooner the better really. Some people say to wait to start buying, but honestly, baby stuff isn't cheap, and I think even buying little things here and there is helpful that way you're not overwhelmed financially once the baby is born trying to buy everything at once.

After you're pregnant. I didn't buy a thing till my first ultrasound when my baby had a heartbeat which was 11 weeks

We would have waited until at least 2nd trimester but a friend gave us a crib and changing table when they found out we were going to be trying since they had finished with it. Then again when we were trying we bought a few things from their yard sale. We didn't make any more purchases until 2nd trimester.

Yeah... I started buying little things when I started TTC.  Mostly gender neutral- nothing big.  That was three years ago!!!  I've obviously stopped buying things, as I now have totes full of stuff that I sometimes feel will never use.  I'm loosing hope and now will wait until a confirmed pregnancy.

I refuse to buy anything until I'm actually pregnant. I see posts where girls are buying stuff when they are just ttc. I don't get that, what if you can't have kids? Adoption doesn't work out for everyone.

I knew I was pregnant at about 4 weeks, heard dd heart beat at 6 weeks 4 days. That day I went out and bought the first outfit for her, gender neutral of course. When we found out she was a girl, it was on. Everyone I knew was out buying baby girl stuff. Its our first, so a lot of money was spent on clothes and diapers and other stuff very early

I'm 14 weeks and have bought a couple little things I've found on sale. Don't really think it's the best idea to buy unless you know the gender.
