What were your first signs of labour? What did you feel like in the days leading up to it starting?

Hey Mommas...expecting my first baby in May and interested in getting a sense of what your experience was like in the weeks, days, or moments leading up to labour! 😊

Mine are not typical at all.. I was super hungry and tired. I went to bed at 9:00 and woke up having to pee at 11:45 when my water broke on the way to the bathroom. I had 1 contraction. We drove 20 minutes to the hospital and only had 1 more contraction. I was 2 cm dialated .. 3 hours later I was 5 cm. 12 hours after my water breaking and 4 hours of pushing our sweet boy was born

I started with back pain and diarrhea

I had Braxton hicks contractions about a week before real labor. I had never felt them before. They would last maybe 20 min. or so then go away. About 2 days before, they started getting more intense and lasting longer , but every time I was ready to call hubby and say "it's time" they'd go away. Finally, they hit the right frequency for the right amount of time that we went in. Perfect timing, too.

My water broke little by little while walking around my town , no pains or nothing until 6 hours later

Severe nausea, couldn't eat anything, 6 hours later my water broke!

A full night sleep! My body most have known we'd need our energy the next day bc the only time I got a full nights sleep was the night before I went into labor.
