what is this blood test called?

Doctor ordered me to take a blood test to see if it's necessary for me to deliver today, I forgot to ask why he wants to know. What's the purpose of this test and should I be worried for my baby? I'm 37 weeks going to be 38 tomorrow.  Also they gave me a 24-hour urine collector.

The blood test is to screen for pre eclampsia-it will show elevated kidney and hepatic function which indicates that the pre eclampsia is affecting other organs in which case they will probably have you deliver.

The 24 hour urine is possibly to see if you have high protein levels in your urine which can indicate preeclampsia. Just my two cents, but def call the office to confirm.
