Hey guys... I wanted ask , why do we lack do much support in our community? Like , I'm a black woman - who is natural (no make up or relaxers) ,and I'm chubby .
Those are the two go-to "supposedly" insults I get when I'm in some kind of confrontation with another black woman ... I can't simply disagree and state my opinion without being insulted . Even though it does bother me . 😂 but , like , why are we so bent on competing , instead on complimenting?
I've done a lot of things in my life that I'm proud of: like graduating early , moving out at 16 , getting my own place , car , etc . And besides my black family , I didn't have many other black people behind me . Non POC supported me , prayed for me , helped me more than anyone else (except family)
Why is it that we don't support our own? We rather tear one another down as we climb to
The top ? We rather be successful before anyone else (even if we call them our friends)
