Couple w/ no friends?

Good morning ladies! Here's a question for you all. Is it normal for you and your S/O to not have friends? We recently moved an hour away from our friends because of the military and none of them come and see us, we always have to drive to them. I just started a new job so I'm hoping to find friends there in our area. My main concern is... Is this normal?! Do you have this same issue? We are very happy just being together and driving to our friends every month or so.. But it feels like we are weird for not having friends. Thanks for answering in advance!
