When's too early to test?

I'm becoming very anxious that I may be pregnant and my period is supposed to be in 6 days. Is it too early to test? The wait is killing me.

I took one Five days before and got negative and took one three days after got positive then my first took me two months too show up on anything lol

Your body doesn't start producing HCG untill implantation has occurred which is usually anywhere from 6-12 days every body is different of course but once implantation happens your body starts producing HCG and the levels raise almost double the amount I believe every either 48 or 72 hours I can't remember which one. Anyways hope this helps!
