I am so afraid to tell my boss and coworkers I'll be taking leave from mid October to mid January. They all have vacations scheduled for a week throughout that time. With me not there they will be understaffed and won't be able to work well with only 2 people there for 3 weeks out of the 3 months. I know they will likely have to cancel their vacations and I feel guilty. I also am sure I'll get the cold shoulder for it.
