Family tells me to change baby's name. What do you think?

Were planning on naming our little girl Anastasia Lucille Olson

I keep hearing from family and friends that the name sucks and we need to change it. My husband and I love the name. What do you think?

I feel like every time someone posts about their family hating a name, it is a nice, REAL name!!! Meanwhile, people are smugly posting the actual worst names I have ever heard, which are apparently getting zero blowback from their families...it's so odd! The name you chose is great -- I always tell people with similar posts to have their family take a look at the names on this app, and then they will stop complaining about your choice reallllllly quickly!

Your baby, your choice of name. As long as you're not naming her like " Lady Fork of the Dungeon " they have not a say in it.

Anastasia is a beautiful name! And so many ways it can be shortened too. We had a bit of grief for spelling our daughters name Isabela instead of Isabella but we liked it and every time I see her name written down, I love it even more. Stick to your guns because your name choice does not suck.

I think it's fine. 
I hope they aren't using the wurd "sucks". At any rate it's rude of them yo say they dislike the name. They can either accept the name you've chosen or call baby "child I never see" since they want to be rude and tacky.

There really are awful names but Anastasia isn't one of them. :)
