I'm Thinking About Doing A Natural Delivery, But I'm Also Kinda Nervous... Any Pros &' Cons Anyone Can Give Me.. Tips? Words Of Encouragement? I Still Have A While To Go, But I Wanna Have This Set In My Head..

You don't need to decide in advance. Go med free and if you change your mind, ask for an epidural.

There is a lot more pros then cons with going natural obviously main con that it hurts! But that's what our bodies were made for! Do you think they had epidural and meds like now 100 years ago?

I would suggest not going with your mind set. That way if things change because you want it to or medically it needs to you are not super hard on yourself or feel you didn't get the birth you wanted. As long as you and baby are healthy in the end that is all that matters. If you decide you need meds 6 hours in it's ok.

I had to get low dose of pain meds after my water broke, my body was exhausted from the 3 long days of contractions. I was trembling from the pain.  But that dose didn't last very long,  I progressed very fast and had a natural birth.

You can do it, Momma! Women have been doing it naturally since the beginning of time! You are honoring the way our bodies work by going natural. I am a ftm and am doing it drug free. Am I nervous? Heck yes! But I believe it is worth it! Your little baby is worth every second.

I've done both and much preferred the natural completely unmedicated birth to the regular hospital birth. It was way more relaxing and not as painful. Your body has more time to adjust and you get breaks between contractions. I really liked it unmedicated. Doing it again this go around.

Done both and I would rather have the unmediated birth becuase it's easier on me and I recover faster. I've done it three out of the 4 time and planning on it this time too but souly it is up to you some people can't do unmediated and that is perfectly fine too
