Yes. We both agree with it and I know that if I'd get pregnant at this stage in my life she'd lowkey want me to get an abortion and so would I, I wouldn't think twice about it. Different people different views 🤷🏻‍♀️

Neither of us are supportive of abortion, but I'm supportive of a woman's right to choose. It's not my body, I'm not God, some women get raped, some women can't carry a baby, and some women just don't want to. I don't feel it's right if you got pregnant during consensual sex to get an abortion. You may have done everything right and it may have been a fluke, but you're aware the fluke may happen. But it doesn't matter what I feel if it's your uterus. It isn't an issue that is so black and white that it is clear who is right or wrong.

Originally no. As everyone in my family but my mom were pro birth.
I use that term because they also vote against support for women going through pregnancy and after cuz "taxation is theft", but only when it's for women that don't fit their religious views.

My mom sat me down around my last year in middle school, after we'd just done a debate example in class and asked what I thought about it. I was crazy uncomfortable because I know she knows SO much and I'd never really talked about it before.

Turns out my mom aborted in college. She slept with someone, had just gotten some shots which decreased the effectiveness of her BC, and ended up pregnant not knowing the father. She decided to terminate, and honestly knowing probability, my three sister's and I wouldn't exist today had she done things differently. It was a bit of an eye opener to the whole "do what's best for YOU" thing. After I did a bunch of reading. Guttmacher and the CDC have good sources for learning about abortion and ALL of the stats that contribute to it. That research really solidified my pro choice stance.

I am an abortion nurse and a woman’s right to choose is one of my favorite things in the whole world! Right up there with chocolate and kitty cats.
