My husband and I were working in the kitchen together earlier after I came home from work.. We decided to take off our old kitchen tiles and get ready to remodel our home. While in the process, my husbands leg fell in the kitchen vent where your a/c and heat unit usually blow in or out of. He got cut on the metal pretty deep but I'm pretty sure the metal was rusted but not 100% sure. Should I take him to get a tetnus shot to be safe from infection? I know it's the right thing to do but he doesn't want to go because he doesn't have health insurance but I do... I have MedStar Family which probably wouldn't help my situation.. Need advice thank you.
