Anyone using a nipple shield all the time? My lactation consultant told me today that if I'm using a shield all the time then I need to pump 3 times a day for a few minutes because they can gradually decrease your milk supply. Anyone have any experience with this or advice? I'd like to try to quit using the shield but I'm afraid I've been using it for so long I won't be able to.
