should I adopt a 🐶 dog?

We've been ttc for over a year. Clomid first round failed. We have two cats. I was thinking about adopting a dog. What do you all think ?

Yes, as long as you understand that when you finally do get the human baby you want, you can't just rehome your fur baby and move on. Dogs are for life. So if you're ok with the idea of having that dog when you're pregnant, when you have a newborn, and as your child grows up, then yes absolutely! Get a fur baby, they're truly the best.

I think it could be a good thing, but make sure if you go get one you won't give it up when you have a baby. It's not fair to the dog. Also, research, research and research more about the breed you get. Make sure you have time and space for size, energy level and temperament and look into a training class. And remember, smaller dogs does not mean less energy.

If you have the time and money and space for a dog absolutely! I have 3 and they're awesome with my 7 week old. Just make sure you do your breed research and get the right one for your family and activity levels. Definitely rescue one if you can! There are sooooo many amazing homeless dogs. The shelter will also do their best to make sure you are matched with the right one for you! Pit bulls are my absolute favorite. I have two rescues. They're awesome with my 7 week old!

My cats rule this house so nobody is going anywhere when a human comes! I want to rescue for sure!! Not sure about breed. We live in a apartment so small to medium. Also wanted to do an adult dog.
