is this the cough medicine i can take?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant I was wondering if this was the right kind. My doctor isn't answering the phone and my boyfriend brought this home. I guess it was the only one he could find that was just regular robitussin.

I was told nothing nighttime but normal Robitussin is fine or the Tylenol cold again just not nighttime.

I was told to avoid cough suppressants especially in the first trimester so I'd wait to see what your doctor says if you want to be on the safe side.
What I used when I had a cough was vaporub on my chest and back. A tablespoon of honey + half a lemon in hot water or tea. Plain honey for the scratchy throat feeling and cough drops (a pharmacist told me to avoid the medicated ones).

The ingredients in that are safe. Robitussin DM is listed on a safe med list my physician gave me. I took the capsule version few weeks ago for upper respiratory infection. Baby boy is just fine.
