30th birthday ideas??

I need help! My husband's 30th is coming up and this is his last BDay before we TTC. I can't think of anything good enough activity-wise to celebrate. I thought it might be nice to go to Gettysburg or skydiving, both things he's always wanted to do, but now it's supposed to be too cold for that. 😳 ! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

My family likes games. My 30th came first. My husband and sister gave me a gift when I woke up. It was a timer. Little cute penguin. Anyway I was told to set my timer for 30mins. When the timer went off I got a gift. Set another 30 mins. Another gift. Every 30 mins I got a gift until I had 30 gifts. Mind you they weren't all expensive but there were some expensive and some that were like a shirt or mug or something. It was amazing. I love games.

My husbands bday was 2 months later. We kept with the 30 gifts and the game idea. We switched it up and gave him a treasure chest full of 30 coins. Each coin had a gift written on it. So when the timer went off he would reach in the treasure chest and pull out a coin. His big gift was a flying lesson. He always wanted to fly a plane. So we had coins that said F-L-Y-I-N-G. Luckily he didn't pick all the letters in the beginning. He picked the last letter close to the end of the day and unscrambled it then.

Like I said we love games so this was great for us.

If you have the money I'd highly recommend Vegas. That's what we did for my husband's 30th and it was an amazing trip.

Granted my husband's birthday is in the summer but when he turned 30, I threw him a surprise BBQ with all his family and friends. We did it at a local park that already had a grill, I just needed to pay the fee for using it which was super cheap. I bought food from Costco to grill and a birthday cake that I picked up from the bakery the morning of. Everyone else picked up snacks and booze. My friend who was learning to become a professional photographer then came and took photos for us.
