why am i getting gray hairs?

I'm 17. so far my mom and i have noticed five gray roots on my head. is there any reason for this, because it can't be normal. :/

Genetics. I've known people in high school with gray hairs.

I had lots of grays starting right at 16 years old. Been dying my hair ever since. My dad was also mostly gray by the time he was 22 so I'm leaning towards genetics. I've also heard it's a zinc deficiency.

It's normal 😔 unfortunately. Genes play a major factor in it, stress and anxiety can cause it and believe it or not hormones can be responsible! My best friend is dark headed and she had a ton of gray hairs at the age of 21!

I started going grey at 15 I'm afraid! Wish I'd got shares in a hair dye company! Lol.
