membrane sweep experiences?

I'm having a membrane sweep next Monday (I'll be 39+4) and I was hoping some of y'all could share your experiences? I know it's not for everyone and it only works 1/4 times but I just wanted to hear what some people who have already been there had to say!

I had them done with each of my pregnancies and it never kick started my labor. They've worked for just about everyone else I know, though! Also, they're very uncomfortable, but try your best to relax and breathe deeply.

I had it done 2 days before my due date with my second baby. I started having contractions that evening and he was born on my due date. It wasn't too bad either, just uncomfortable.

I went into labor 2 hours after mine

That's when I had mine done. I was a little sore after and bled a little at first. It put me into labor 12 hours later and I had the baby the next morning

I had mine done at my 40 week appointment, and I was bleedy and cramps all day and that evening, the next day I stopped bleeding and felt fine 😑 but then my water broke around midnight that night! So don't feel discouraged if nothing happens within 24 hours because it can be later! I was fully effaced and 1 cm when I had it done!
