one positive one negative

I need some advice. I got excited as the first pregnancy test I took looked positive. I went and got a digital one just to be sure and it says negative. Anyone else had this and any advice.

Digital require more HCG to be in your system for a positive. Therefore you won't always get a positive digital right away. If you want to confirm just take another regular test and in like a week try a digital again.

Yes, happened to me. Digitials need much higher levels of hcg to get a positive.

I believe digital ones usually require more hormones. Also using first morning urine is more accurate if you haven't missed your period yet.

Digitals tend to be less sensitive (need higher HCG). Maybe wait a week for that one. But keep testing with a regular urine test!
