what's the earliest you can return to work after giving birth?

Do you have to do the 6wks until the Dr clears you or you can go in after two wks?

My job offers 7 weeks paid so I'm prob going to take that whole time. However if it wasn't paid I would prob end up going back as soon as I felt good.

I was cleared by my doc (at my request) to go back at 4 weeks. I had a vaginal delivery with no tears or any other complications

I went back at 10 days PP. you can return whenever you want. Unless you had a c section. Then the preferred minimum is 8 weeks but ideally 12.
