Nose piercing advice? PLEASE HELP

I got my nose pierced 6 and a half weeks ago and from the start it hasn't been right. I got it peirced with a screw stud thing, yanno the one with the hook on the end. It was sore at first but normal. I have been bathing it in boiled salt water since it was peirced every morning and evening, last thing I do before I leave the house and last thing I do before I sleep. I have been careful with applying makeup around it too.

THREE DAYS after I got it peirced I woke up with it hanging out, having snagged it in the night: 
Since then I don't think I've made it through a week without catching it and pulling it this far out.

After a few weeks of this I started to develop a tiny lump next to the peircing, I already had my doubts that it was healing properly because it was pussy for the first 3/4 weeks (even though I was still cleaning it). I googled it and discovered that it might be a keloid scar and to add a Camomille teabag to the bathing solution. So I did, and was extra careful when applying makeup and the lump seemed to start to go. Until, one night 2 weeks ago I managed to wake myself up in the middle of the night by pulling THE ENTIRE THING out. Yep. And I had to put it back in. Since then the lump went and then started to develop again and I still haven't been able to make it through a week without catching it.

Now this is what it looks like:

I stopped cleaning it and have just left it alone for the last few days, just to see what would happen, but the lump has continued to grow. This is the biggest it's ever been! I had a cold when I first got it pierced and I now have another cold, don't know if that has anything to do with it but if anyone has any advice please help!!

I now plan to go back to the piercing shop and ask them to put a smaller stud in, maybe that will stop me catching it? I'm also going to use surgical tape over it when applying makeup and go back to just using salt water to clean it rather than salty camomille. Thoughts?

I had the same thing happen to me with the little bump. I used a heat compress on it and within 2 days of doing that, a bunch of puss rose to the top to form a giant pimple. I barely "popped" around it and it squirted out immediately. The 2 days after I did that, the swelling went down a lot. Andtoday, 4 days after I popped it, it looks completely fine.

Make sure you are using a gentle soap to clean BOTH exit holes before doing the salt soak, and then apple vitamin e. If it persists after a week, go to your piercer and have them check it

This is normal to have a lump, make sure your cleaning it had mine a year now and it's gone infected and it hurts every time I move the ring and it looks really sore, when I had a stud it was always in the morning when I wake up and I'd rub my face and it would come out and it really hurt, don't worry about it, go back to the piercer and ask them x

Me and alllllll my friends went though this it's normalish and i found that it would Fall out at night and everything I ended up getting a nose ring that for me help it heal better it didn't get snagged on things and was supper easy to clean I didn't need to take it out, good luck!
