not how I planned

Went to my 38 week checkup today. Been feeling normal. I haven't lost my mucus plug or been dialated at all. When the nurses took my blood pressure it was 150/100. They took it 3 more times throughout the appointment with no change. My doctor let me know that unfortunately he is going on vacation in an hour but it's time to take baby out. So I'm stuck with a doctor I've never met and my birth plan thrown out the window. I was borderline pre eclampsia for the last 4 weeks and my blood pressure was high every week. So unfortunately they are inducing me tonight. So not what I wanted. I hate being strapped up to the stress test monitors and the IV. I literally have to stay on my back in one position or we lose the heartbeat on the monitor. I've been getting pills put behind my cervix to hopefully start labor but I've had 12 hours of them and I'm only at 1 cm. I've had severe back pain this pregnancy so being stuck on my back is literally like hell to me. I so wanted this to be a natural epidural free labor but it's looking like that's not gonna happen. Im so excited to meet my little one but I hope she hurries cuz mommy is having a rough time and it's only gonna get worse from here. Any advice ladies?
