Help sleep training?

My son is having trouble napping and falling asleep at night. I feel a proper routing will help but i dont know what to do. Cry it out seems to harsh at this age. (Just 3 months)

Suggestions?  Your situation?  Please help!

I am going to do this in April when I am on break from work. I feel like it may take time and cause some sleepless nights. So plan to follow and see what advice you receive. Good luck, keep us all updated on how it goes.

My daughter is 3 months too and she's going through the same thing I think it's developmental. Our carrier has been amazing at calming her down we also have a bedtime routine and nap routine we're trying to stick to... at bedtime we rub on coconut oil or give a bath (we alternate days) then I read her two of the same books and sing a song in the rocking chair... then we close all the curtains in the condo and we pace back and forth with her if she won't nurse to sleep. Nap time I change her read her one book sing a song and then nurse her or pace the condo again...
