hCG levels getting checked

I had some spotting and cramping earlier this week. Since I miscarried around this time in December, my nurse had me come in for blood work yesterday. I got my progesterone and hCG Levels checked. They decided to put me on progesterone and I go back tomorrow to see if hCG levels have doubled. I'm very nervous but trying to be calm. I took a pregnancy test yesterday, and the line is definitely much darker, even darker than the test line, so I'm hoping it will all be ok. Anyone else ever have to do this?
