baby #2, anyone?

Question

I had my first son at 36.6. No one knows why, I went in for my regular week appointment at 36.5 and was dilated to a 3 and my cervix was disappearing. 
Even though I was a day away from "full term" my son still spent 8 days in the NICU and that broke my heart.

My question is did any of you go in to early labor but went further with your second baby. Currently 30.5 but my mom keeps saying I'm going to deliver early based solely on how early I went with my first. I'd really love to atleast bake him until 38 weeks. I'd even be happy going the full 40. 🙌🏼💙

I had my first son at 37+3, and my second made it until 38+6. I was pretty spot on with date of conception for both so I know it wasn't that. Everyone keeps telling me I'm going to go even earlier this time, but I just can't bring myself to believe it, as much as I'd like to! 😊

It's different for each pregnancy. I haven't gone through it personally but my mom has had four kids and out of the four of us I was the only one on time and only one was early.

I had my first At 30 weeks and got induced with my second at 39.   And I was at a very high risk for preterm labor.

My first at 37w (water broke spontaneously at 36w5d) my second was induced at 39w because she kept flipping head down to beech and back.

I had my son at 41 weeks 4 days!!

My first was born at 40 weeks 5 days but I don't think your first really determines your second. Sometimes people just go into labour unexpectedly. I hope this one stays in longer for you :)

I'm only on my first, but I do know that my mother had my older brother at 38 weeks and me bang on 40 :)
