Church??

MIL just asked if we'd go to mass with her Sunday...I'm first scared because of all the flu and illness going around. Second because my baby does not sit still! Has anyone done this before??

We go to church almost every sunday, my son just watches everything going on, when he gets sleepy my hubby rocks him to sleep. And if he's hungry I just put on my cover and feed him.

If you are nervous about the stuff that's going around , do what's makes you feel comfortable. But you can always sit towards the back of the church and if baby gets way too loud then dip out for a sec to see if he calms down and bring him back in. Also of you are breastfeeding just walk with a blanket to cover up and feed baby through the entire mass. I've been taking my little bubba since she was 6 weeks I think and I've only had to step out twice so far. She's 4 months.

Yea we go to church n thank god in our church there is placed excluded for parents with babies (firstfloor) while the whole church is on the ground flour, so we are more comfortable, 
For feeding I do not feed in church i pump so I go with a bottle for easy feeding, 
N when the church is over we do not go out with the mass on the same time its either we leave a bit early or we wait to be the last ones to leave (we usually leave early) this is to avoiding having to interacts with people,

I take my daughter to mass every week. We've been going since she was a month old. She also got baptized! She loves the music and enjoys looking around at the gorgeous scenery.

My husband wanted to go last week and I felt the same way. Do you have a carrier or wrap? I wrapped my guy up in his moby wrap. He slept most of the time and people are less willing to invade your space then a babies. I didn't shake anyone's hand and made my husband use hand sanitizer. If anyone tried to touch him I'd just do a subtle turn like I was rocking him so they couldn't get to him. People have good intentions but I'd rather they think I was rude then get him sick. Everything turned out fine though.

If you're unsure then don't go.
I've been feeling pretty confident with my bub after his shots + breastfeeding.
Just had him baptised and he was happy the whole time, spewed everywhere but otherwise good.

Don't be scared I was the same with my baby but surprisingly she loved it. She looked around all the time she did try getting fussy but it was because she was hungry.
