internal ultra sound today and now blood?

Yikes! I am about 5-6 weeks and had my. First internal ultra sound today and then this happens!? Should I be concerned... what's your experience?? Please help!

When I was around 7 weeks, my husband and I had sex, then I had bright red blood, and a lot of it, so I went to the ER. Of course, it took a while, and the bleeding stopped while I was there. By the time they did my internal ultrasound, I wasn't bleeding. Baby was fine and we could see a heartbeat. When I went to wipe off from the ultrasound, there was more blood. I showed the tech. They ended up doing a pelvic exam, and I had a spot on my cervix. Anything that went in my vagina irritated the spot (it was like soft membranes or something on my cervix), and made me bleed. I was told nothing in my vagina and no sex for like two weeks until it healed. Then I was fine. During pregnancy, your cervix can get irritated super easily. Lay off sex for a few days/weeks, and it should be fine, however, if you CONTINUE to bleed heavily and bright red, or have any cramping, go to your doctor or ER. You honestly should be fine, though, just have some cervix irritation from the ultrasound. Good luck! 😊

I had a little bit of bleeding but it was a couple days after so I'm not positive it was related to the scan. I have seen other women post about bleeding after transvaginal ultrasounds though. I would just make sure it doesn't get any heavier and that you don't start cramping.
