when did you start preventing stretch marks??

When did you start using products to prevent stretch marks? I haven't started yet 😰 I'll be 16w on sun. What products to you recommend? Also how many times as day? Thankssss 💗💗

I started using the Palmers Cocoa Stretch Mark lotion with the Palmers Stretch Mark oil the first trimester until I realized it was causing me to get rashes so I stopped and began to use bio oil and Burts Bees Mama Bee 🐝 Belly Butter from the 2nd trimester until I gave birth and I have only 3 little tiny stretch marks! I applied it every night before bed, all around my belly, butt and thighs 😊

Just FYI. Most ppl either get them or they don't. It tends to be genetic. If you're mom didn't get them you're less likely to. Vice versa. If you've had them from growing in the past then you're prob screwed. Lotioning isn't a guarantee but it might help. Worth a shot.

Started using a natural cream every night to prevent stretch marks at 13w. My bump didn't start showing until 21w and it fully popped out at 28w. Stretch marks started showing up at 29w and they were pretty red. Switched to bio-oil at 29w and I've been using it twice a day since. I'm at 34w+3 now and the stretch marks are still there, however they're fading to a light pink even though my tummy continues to grow bigger

Definitely start using bio oil now and it will drastically reduce your stretch marks...also if you do end up with them continue to use it and they will fade SO much!!

I started using bio oil as soon as i found out girl I was like 3 weeks pregnant I wasn't taking any chances lol I have zero except the ones I had prior to getting pregnant on my boooty And thighs! Plus I drank so much water but I would put tje bio oil on 3 times a day and now I'm currently pregnant w/#2 so I'm doing the same thing lol

They are hereditary, 95% of women get them.
Eat healthy, drink plenty of water, keep weight gain slow and even. This is the only way to reduce the amount you get.

I started using palmers cocoa butter around 6 weeks, then around 15 weeks got lazy and at 25 weeks I'm using bio oil. 😂 Also neutrogena sesame seed oil occasionally, I read that a lot of people used it and didn't get stretch marks.
