I'm 11 weeks pregnant and have been breaking out. Is it safe to use proactive ?

Proactive really sucks bad.

Yes you can use any topical creams. Everyone who says they aren't safe are just being paranoid. Any studies that say they're dangerous tested on rats. How? They injected them with the chemicals every day so of course they had some nasty results. Do you inject acne cream into your body? No. You put it on your skin. Besides, with the proportion that they injected the chemicals into the rats, you'd need to put like 60 tubes of proactive on your skin...Well, inject it. Lol

The facewash is safe because it only contains benzoyl peroxide. The other products contain salicylic acid and should be avoided.

I'm also 11 weeks and just asked my Dr. last week if it was OK to use this. She told me no and to stop using it now. I'm super upset because this is the only thing that keeps my face clear. I've seen a lot of posts from other women saying their doctors gave him the go-ahead. But now I don't know what to think. I don't know what to use! I've been off of it for almost 4 days and already see a difference in my skin. Not good.
