We didn't find out with our first & loved that experience so much we decided that we are not going to find out the gender of any of out pregnancies :) My husband loved being able to go out to the waiting room and announce it! 
And you CAN TOTALLY be prepared without all the pink or blue!

My SO wants to wait and the more think about it the more exciting it sounds but I'm such a control freak I really wanna know too to plan.

Before I got pregnant I was all "no way, there is too much gendering for babies anyway, why spend 6 months building up more expectations" but now that it had happened, yes, we will find out. Husband really wants to before we consider names at all. And we will do the blood test so should know for sure ... My parents expected me to be a boy and I got my name in the delivery room thanks to nurses' suggestions!
