What in the world is causing my finger above my nails to swell up and get red like this?
I got the best pictures I could. My phone didn't want to focus on it :(

I bite my nails like a maniac, I get the exact same at times. Looks entirely similar to it

mine get like that if i have a open cut or hang nail after i peel potatoes or apples but that's because i have an allergy to most raw fruits and veggies
