will my doctor strip my membranes?

I'm 38 weeks today and at my appt last week I was 4cm and 80% effaced. Going in tomorrow for my check up. Do you think if I ask my doc she will strip my membranes? I'm ready to meet this baby!

Probably will! I had it done at 37 weeks, 38 weeks and 39 weeks but still ended up having to be induced. It did hurt but the pain doesn't last
