Runny dye/BFN or crappy test?
My period was due today but never came so I decided to take a first response hpt since I had also been experiencing symptoms. Right after the urine had been applied I immediately set the test down flat and watched it. I noticed that half of window started to look "wet" from the inside. (coming from left to right). Then I noticed that the second line (the line that confirms pregnancy) appeared but the dye of the pregnancy line was smeared from the "wet" that I saw from inside the window. I left the bathroom because I was getting anxious. 3 min later I came back and the test was negative and the inside of the window appeared dry. Does this mean the test was defective or did it consume too much urine or.....?
