When can you start getting braxton hicks? Does everyone get them?

Lately I started to feel some pain in my lower abdomen and I want to know if it might be that, or can it be that the movements of the baby are getting a little painful now? I'm 26w6d and a first time mum so I don't know how braxton hicks or contractions feels, any advice? Thanks! ^^

I apparently had them by didn't feel them at 37 weeks. I only knew because I was hooked up to a monitor and it showed I was having contractions.  I was surprised!

Got them starting at 20 weeks with my first, and just got them for the first time at 24 weeks with this Baby.

I've had them since 14 weeks with this pregnancy. And i had them with my 2 previous pregnancies but not until later, after 27 or 28 weeks i think. They've never been painful for me though.

FTM also 29wks. I started getting them at 20 wks. Sometimes they would hurt slightly other times just this tightening pressure feeling. It's normal. Stay hydrated it helps a lot to not feel them.

I had them for about 30-45 min at wk 39 and they were piercing pains across the top of my stomach and above the belly button. I laid down on my side and drank water and they stopped

I started getting braxton hicks at 18 weeks,
They should not hurt but feel like a sudden tensing and then releasing of your uterus.
Not everyone gets BHC, but they are common and normal.
It CAN be normal to have pain in pregnancy and it could be a range of things.
