State taxes?!!

Who got their state taxes back?!
I got my federal on the 22nd of Feb and didn't get my state back yet. My mom told me she got here anyone know why some haven't gotten them back yet?!

It can take up to 6 weeks for the state to come back sometimes. Or they kept it if you owe money that may have been over paid for some thing related to the state (food stamps, unemployment). But if that's the case you should get a letter stating they are keeping it

Usually you can go to your state's taxation website and look up the status. If you are waiting for a physical check, usually that holds things up. Also, if you have claimed a lot and are getting a large refund, it might take longer due to stricter fraud checks.

Im in the same situation i did my taxes on the 21st of jan received my federal on the 23 of feb and i still havent recieved my state and i have no idea why i know i dont owe anything

I think typically it takes longer to get state. We got ours last Friday but haven't gotten our federal yet which I thought was weird. My parents, who filed the same time we did using the same software and everything, got their federal last Thursday but haven't gotten their state yet. I have no idea at all how any of this works, it makes no sense to me lol
