Long bath robe to the ankles or short one to the knees for hospital stay??!

What will be more comfortable? It will be a normal vaginal delivery.

Neither because you'll bleed all over them. The bleeding after delivery for the first 1-2 wks is no joke.

I'd make sure it wasn't too warm as well. At least in my case I was SO HOT AND SWEATY for a while after birth. Those hormones made it look like I had ran a marathon.

I brought a short one and a sweater that I live in when I feel emotional/uncomfortable/bloated, etc. I have no regrets. The short one is easily held up while going to the bathroom and I worried less about the bottom touching icky surfaces in a hospital. During delivery they wanted me to only have the gown on, but I had my short robe on anyway, because it was a cheap one and I would rather be warm and comfy and risk getting my robe torn up in an emergency C section. I am now on my third pregnancy, and the short pink robe is still going strong for hospital visits.

For me I get super hot after delivery because of the hormones. So I liked having one just to my knees
