Postpartum Recovery Time?

Hey ladies! I'm wondering how long the recovery process has been for your first babes with a vaginal birth?? I'm hoping to be walking with my baby as soon as I can, but want to know what's realistic

I'm 6 days pp. Vaginal birth with 2nd degree tear. Got discharged 36 hours pp & then was re-hospitalized 48 hours pp with a high fever & infection. Came home again 3.5 days pp, still on antibiotics. I took my first walk today while wearing baby-- it was verrry slow & honestly was pretty challenging just because my hips/back/abs are still pretty sore, but it felt good to move & I think it'll speed healing. Just don't push the pace.

I had an unmedicated natural vaginal delivery and was up and waking just fine an hour later and no issues afterwards.

I was lucky enough to have a pretty easy birth with some tearing, but not too much. I had an epidural- but I was moving around just fine the next day. I worked outside the day after I got home (2 days pp) grooming horses and cleaning the barn.
