6 weeks with BV dilemma. Opinions please!
Okay, so I'm 6w1d with baby #2 and I went to the doctor yesterday and found out I have BV. She prescribed me metronidazole gel and said that is better in pregnancy than taking an antibiotic pill and that it was good I came in to clear it up. However, when I talked to the OB, they said they can't treat it until 13wks. Everything I read online is so back and forth. All I see is that not treating BV can cause problems with baby and treating it with medication can cause problems. Anyone been through this or have opinions/suggestions? Thanks!
