Mom rant!

My 9.5 month old is a daycare baby because I don't have the option to stay home. Since December she has had RSV (for which she was hospitalized), then she got an ear infection from the congestion, then she got the flu with another ear infection, and now she has pink eye. I seriously wish parents would keep their kids home when they know they are sick! Being a working parent, I get not wanting to miss work. However, whenever we know our daughter is ill, one of us always stays home with her. I've taken leave without pay just so she doesn't spread her yuckiness. I'm so frustrated with these parents who send their sick kids in because my daughter always catches what's going around! This photo was from this morning. She woke up with her eye swollen shut. I know daycare means germs and colds, but to me, this is unacceptable!
