Do you compromise on a name you don't love?

So my husband and I have not been on the same page for names. With our son 6 years ago we both agreed on Ethan James for our sons name months in advance.  We were still arguing over a girls name during labor lol. This time we've not been able to come up with a boys name.  He vetoed my top picks of Lucas, Grayson, and Bronson.  We narrowed it down to Liam or Harrison. I like Liam better but he likes Harrison.  I get my way if it's a girl with the name I've been in love with for over 6 years; Bria Lane. So I said he could have Harrison George if it's a boy.  I just don't love it as much 😣 (and our son does not like it at all lol). So hoping for a girl when I'm induced Thursday! Would/have you compromised on a name that you don't love to make your partner happy?

I always hated the concept of a junior I never wanted to name my son after his father or anyone else but now I'm about to have a baby and it's gonna be a junior... why? Because it's important enough to him that I can't say no. It's his baby too and he really wants his son named after him. But I do get to choose the next babies name 😈 no complaints from him. So it's a compromise

Oh my god, I love the name Harrison!! If we have a boy I wanted that on the list to consider but my hubby doesn't like it. I wanted to name my babah Harry tbh but that's a no go too. So we still have to add some to our list.

Yes. I didn't really care for the name Sophia but my husband loved it so I got used to it. Now it was my turn to choose a name and I'm having a girl and hubby got used to the name as well. We aren't really stubborn people.

Haha. My husband's name is Roy Wayne --- IV. I knew when I fell in love with him that our future son was doomed and that I had no choice. Now we have a Roy Wayne --- V.

We didn't plan it but he ended up picking the boy name and I picked the girl name. I don't think either of us would have chosen the names the other person picked but it's ok!

We didn't compromise at all. We went through about 1001 and one names. Some I loved, some he loved. But we didn't compromise. We found a first and middle name we both loved... AND middle name had to start with a C (as per my fiance's family tradition. 
We instantly fell in love with Emily. Middle name was tricky.. but we both adore the show Super girl..so we instantly came up with Cara.
Emily Cara C. (E.C.C). After months of searching, we were both amazed that we came up with two names we both adored..
