Not into training?
Is anyone else just not interested in schedule training their newborns? I have nothing wrong with any mom who wants to, I am just wondering if I'm alone in not being interested in it...I feel like following her cues, watching her, and letting her do her thing has led us to a pretty decent "schedule" while leaving flexibility for both of us...if she's tired, she sleeps. If she's hungry, she eats. If she wants to play, we play...I think schedules have a lot of value, especially as they get older...but I just don't see it as necessary at 3 months...also, I don't feel I should expect my little one to sleep completely through the night...she only wakes once, but she's truly hungry...I can't expect her tiny tummy to be full through a whole night (though we have had a few full nights which is cool)...I just want to know if I'm alone in not strictly scheduling things...
Ps...we still have certain things that are consistent...it's not just a free for all...I just mean that I don't make her wait till the scheduled nap time if she's sleepy earlier...or expect her to sleep if she decides she isn't tired yet...I still do a bedtime routine, but I start it when I see that she's showing signs of being ready for bed rather than at a specific time of night...
