due dates change due to measurements???

Question

Hi to anybody that could help me...

My original dates are 8 weeks and 1 day today. I had a scan today and my measurements show that in fact I am 6 weeks + 5 Days.

Which is more accurate because my last period was 11th January and it is now the 9th of March which is Basically 2 months ago...

Am I more 6 weeks+5Days or

8 weeks+1 Day?

It all really just depends if you have an excellent doctor that knows what their doing and how to do their job. My first pregnancy I went to the OB and she said I was 4-5 weeks when really I was 7-8 weeks pregnant. Well I went to the emergency room two weeks later (where I had my miscarriage) and the obgyn told me I was ten weeks.

You're 6 weeks 5 days. If that's what the tech or doctor said, trust them. You could have ovulated later in your cycle.

LMP only works if your cycles are exactly 28 days. I have longer cycles, 35/37 ish days in length and my dates were off roughly two weeks.. but baby is fine and healthy and growing right along
