When is the best time to get a 3d ultrasound ?

I'm thinking after 35 weeks. Any suggestions?

These are mine ds1 at 31+2, ds2 at 29+5 and dd at 26+4

Mine told me to have it done around 28 weeks. If you wait much longer the baby gets smushed too much and the legs cover the face, you might not get any views of the face.

Generally recommended between 27-35 weeks

It varies. The private place I go to recommends between 26 and 32 and max at 36 because we start to lose amniotic fluid. We got some really good ones at 32 weeks from my drs office. We go back at 36 weeks (I get an ultrasound every month) and I'll see how they are then.
