For those that have given birth, was your labor similar to your mother's?

I was researching predicting labor and it's said that all pregnancies are different so it's hard to say how a woman's labor will go. According to this, the best way to "predict" labor is to go by previous pregnancies. Also, by genetics, so you might want to look at your mother's labors and go closer to that than a stranger's. If you have given birth, was it similar to your mother's? (Labor time, proximity to DD, pain, easiness, etc.)
