When did you hear the heart beat

I heard it for the first time at 12 weeks with a doppler. My doctor doesn't even check before then

Heard heartbeat first time at my first scan which was done at 6 weeks possibly further if I am further currently like I suspect.

I went to my OBs appointment at 14 weeks, and they still couldn't find it on doppler.  Went to an elective gender ultrasound at 16 weeks at a place with  better equipment,  and finally heard it at 16 weeks. I was 5'6" and 190 pounds before I got pregnant, so Im a little bigger, as well.

I will say, I heard it with a transvaginal ultrasound at 7 weeks but at 11 weeks, they couldn't find it with a Doppler. They did an ultrasound right after to make sure things were okay and baby's HB was flickering away. My uterus is tilted toward my back, or at least it was, so I don't know if that's the problem or what... Either way, don't panic if you can't hear it with a Doppler. I'm not getting one for this reason lol
