I got a interview tomorrow and the lady said bring a photo id & social security card however I don't have mines but I have my birth certificate would that work ??

From my experience, you'll need a social security card because they need a copy for your file. I would call back and let them know you don't have it, that you can bring your birth certificate for now, and then work on getting your social. It's important to have it anyway.

The birth certificate doesn't have your social on it which is what they need-proof that you do have one- i would call and let them know your working on getting it but that is something you should hold onto its a pretty important piece of paper
